Church observation tower

Tower of the Evangelical Church of St. Martin Luther – a unique viewpoint in Świnoujście. The tower is the only remnant of the Evangelical Church of St. Martin Luther, built in 1905. The temple, erected in the Neo-Gothic style, was once an important element of the city’s landscape. Unfortunately, after World War II, the church suffered severe damage and gradual deterioration. In 1962, a decision was made to demolish it, but the tower was preserved because it served an important navigational function – it was marked on nautical charts as a reference point for ships.
Today, the tower is one of the most interesting tourist attractions in Świnoujście. Inside, it houses a charming, two-level café that invites visitors to relax with a cup of aromatic coffee. At the top of the tower, there is an observation deck reached by 222 steps. From the terrace, a breathtaking panorama unfolds, showcasing the city, its port, and the surrounding islands and forests. This unique place blends history, architecture, and the beauty of seaside views, making it well worth a visit during your stay in Świnoujście. The tower is located at the intersection of Piłsudskiego and Paderewskiego streets, making it easily accessible on a stroll through the city center.
